The Berowra Woodchop was a day for the whole community in the surrounding suburbs of Berowra to enjoy and take part in. The atmosphere at the event was full of excitement. There was a huge variety of stalls from craft stalls, cake stalls, local banks, a display by the Rural Fire Service, The Lions Club, organic vegetable growers and plenty of tasty food stalls.
John Pye Real Estate offered free appraisals to the community with a gift of a free native seedling. We also held a free lolly guessing competition.
People from all ages were taking part in the historical event of the Berowra Wood Chop. There was plenty of live music throughout the day with various bands playing including one of our favourites – Steve Passfield. Local school students also had the opportunity to show off their talents to the community. The community encouraged and supported them. This very much highlighted what the Berowra Woodchop is all about!
The event, now in its 17th year, is a fundraiser for its organisation as well as Berowra Rural Fire Service and Berowra Scouts. John Pye Real Estate felt privileged to be a part of it and spend time with people in the community.
Congratulations to Sharon Finlay and family who won the jar of jellybeans!
