With over 100,000 homeless people in Australia, a difference can be made in these people’s lives – one life at a time.
79,000 Australians move each week. 85% of these people dispose of furniture, clothing and non-perishable food items. With these items, approximately 4,000,000 homes can be furnished across the country.
As part of Heart for the Homeless’ ‘Moving Cities Initiative’, approximately 11 tonnes of furniture, clothing and non-perishable food items have been rescued this year alone.
